- LASFM has statutory DIRECT plan review authority over most commercial, assembly, mercantile, industrial, and storage occupancies statewide (broader than most states). High-piled storage > 12 ft (or > 6 ft for high-hazard) triggers IFC Ch. 32 review — both at LASFM and the local AHJ.
