SMA is a product section within MHI that represents manufacturers of shelving, bins, drawers, and storage systems — essentially everything that isn't heavy-duty pallet rack. If a company makes industrial shelving, modular drawers, bin systems, or specialized storage products, SMA is their industry group.

Membership Requirements
SMA membership is open to companies that manufacture storage products (shelving, bins, drawers, lockers, and related systems). As a product section of MHI, SMA members are also MHI members. The focus is on manufacturers — distributors and dealers typically join MHEDA instead.
